Automatic Calibration

xDrip » Features » Calibration » Automatic Calibration

You can enter blood glucose measurements from your blood glucose meter into xDrip to keep records.

If automatic calibration is enabled, xDrip will monitor readings over several cycles. If the trend is flat (not changing rapidly), xDrip will use the blood glucose reading for calibration, applying a time parameter so that the calibration is applied at the time the measurement was originally entered.

This feature also works with readings from a Bluetooth-enabled blood glucose meter.

To enable automatic calibration, navigate to:
Settings −> Less common settings −> Advanced Calibration −> Automatic Calibration, or
Settings −> Glucose Meters −> Automatic Calibration.

Note: Automatic calibration is not recommended for Dexcom devices, as calibration is managed by the transmitter itself.
